It's one of the first questions we get on almost every pool project: do I need a pool, a spa, or both? The honest answer depends less on square footage and more on how you'll actually use the space.
When a Spa Alone Makes Sense
If your priority is relaxing, not lap swimming or hosting pool parties, a spa alone can be the right call, especially on a smaller lot. It costs less to build and run, and it's usable year-round, even on cooler nights.
When You Want Both
Most of our larger projects pair a pool and spa together, often with a shared raised wall or spillway between them. That gives you the best of both: a spa for quiet mornings and cool evenings, and a pool for everything else.
What We Actually Look At
Lot size, how often you'll use each one, and your budget all factor in. We'd rather talk you out of a feature you won't use than build something that just looks good on paper.
Not sure which fits your space? That's exactly what a design consultation is for.
