Not every backyard in Orange County has room to spare, and it doesn't need to. Some of our favorite projects have been on smaller, tighter lots where every square foot had to earn its place.
Vertical Space Matters as Much as Ground Space
A raised planter, a vertical water feature, or a taller privacy screen can do a lot of visual work without eating into usable square footage.
One Feature Can Do Double Duty
A raised spa wall that also serves as extra seating, or a fire feature built into a low retaining wall, lets a smaller space feel intentional instead of crowded.
Scale Everything to the Lot, Not the Trend
A pool or kitchen sized for a much bigger yard will overwhelm a small one. We scale every feature to the actual lot, so the finished space feels balanced instead of squeezed in.
A smaller lot isn't a limitation, it's just a different design problem, and one we enjoy solving.
